Program Schedule
The program is held over 4 weeks and is split into three 2 hour sessions and one full day photo shoot.Week 1 - Understanding modelling
Topics covered in this session are:- Exploring your objective for modelling and how it will impact your life
- Types of modelling and where you fit in
- How to have positive Body Image and Self Esteem
- Persistence and handling rejection
- How models look before digital retouching and styling… just like you!
Week 2 - Creating the business of ‘you’
Topics covered in this session are:- Business skills to keep your career on track
- Rapport- How and why to influence others through rapport building
- Strategies for Success- When and how do you function at your best
- Presenting with confidence- Improve your performance by watching yourself present through a camera
- Personal Branding- Who are you, what’s your message, and how do you convey that information?
Week 3 - Now let’s get you modelling!
Topics covered in the session are:- Model Kit- What to take and how to behave on a modelling job
- Posing- The do’s and don’ts of professional model posing
- Catwalk- The history of catwalk and how to do it
- Agency v’s Freelance modeling
- Resources for modelling success- How to find and access available resources to begin modelling straight away
- What to do now? Some ideas to kick-start your modelling career
Week 4 - The Photoshoot
- 2 different outfits
- 2 professional Make Up Artist looks
- Both indoor and outdoor shoots
- Professional posing advice
- Three images selected for your portfolio and presented as A4 colour prints and on CD
